Payne to...MSU?

-In the last 20 minutes, two very informed sources have told me they feel Adreian Payne, the 6'9 C from Dayton, OH/Jefferson will go to Michigan State. Word is another staff in the running also feels he will go to Michigan State. Now, none of this may correct, and tomorrow he may end up committing to West Virginia or Kentucky, but right now with the info I've gathered, I'm feeling pretty good about saying he'll be a Spartan. If I'm right, Payne who has the potential to be a pro, will help the Spartans down low next year. He's super athletic, very long, can run, jump, just has to put it all together. And that's something Tom Izzo, Bob Huggins, John Calipari, or Sean Miller, would help him do. Payne is a Top 20 2010 player nationally by BOTB. Stay tuned for an announcement tomorrow.

-In other news, 6'7 Kenny Kaminski from Medina, OH/High was offered by Ohio State last weekend. Third big ten offer for the elite 2012 forward prospect.

-My Styles3 Elite Showcase report will be posted soon. Have gotten sidetracked lately.

Styles3 Elite Showcase

There was an abundance of talent at my Styles3 Elite Showcase this weekend! Numerous players were discovered, and many top ranked name guys came out over two days! Expect a report soon! Dwaun Anderson, the 6'4 Wing from Suttons Bay in the 2011 class proved, there isn't a better wing prospect in Michigan in 2011 and he's a Top 5 player statewide, and that may be being modest!

Updates

I have been extremely busy putting together the Styles 3 Elite Showcase, which will be held October 17, 18 at Northwood University in Midland, Michigan. This will be a truly fantastic event. A few nuggets will be put on the blog this week, and when the camp report is finished, I will get back to posting more info. Here is a few things for today:

-Michigan State is the new leader for 6'5 2011 G Brandan Kearney from Detroit Southeastern. Kearney was recently in Colorado this past weekend for the USA U16 National Team Practice, Kearney has the potential to be a impact player at the next level. More will come on Kearney.

-Michigan will have two big time D1 wings on campus this weekend. 6'7 2010 Wing Devin Oliver from Kalamazoo Central, and 6'4 Wing Dwaun Anderson of Suttons Bay. Schools like Utah, Oakland and others have offered Anderson, and Oliver is being recruited by high majors, mid majors, and low majors.

-A list of players for the Midnight Madness festivities will be released soon (Wed or Thurs) by BOTB, for numerous schools.

-Central Michigan, picked up a big commitment today from 6'7 2010 PF Colin Voss from East Grand Rapids (MI). Voss is a beast inside, and will be a factor at the MAC level, in my opinion. If CMU can add Trey Zeigler from Mt Pleasant to go along with Voss, and 6'1 PG Derek Jackson from Cleveland Benedictine, the Chippewas will be a force in the MAC, and will put itself in contention to seriously recruit 6'4 Dwaun Anderson from Suttons Bay (MI) in the 2011 class.

More to come very, very soon.
